The Viña Real family
Viña Real is one of the first brands to produce age worthy wines in Rioja Alavesa province. These wines are produced mostly with the same variety, Tempranillo. This variety is perfectly adapted to the 'Terroir' of Rioja Alavesa where the climatic and growing conditions are perfect, furthermore the Tempranillo grape is a variety with a unique capacity to produce wines which benefit from barrel and bottle aging.
Viña Real wines are modern wines with long aging potential.
The Viña Real grapes go through the most rigorous controls and selection prior to entering the winery for vinification and aging. These controls begin in the vineyards and are constantly supervised by the Cuné viticultural department.

The Viña Real production system uses a combination of the most modern and traditional techniques.
The vertical hopper (unique in Spain), rotates and transports the grapes via a screw to the selection tables.
|
| Viña Real has a system for the unfermented grape juice transportation with mobile stainless-steel tanks with a capacity of 5000 litres. These mobile stainless-steel tanks are lifted and transported by a crane, dropping the unfermented grape juice by gravity.
