Made from a meticulous selection of our best grapes in the Rioja Alavesa subzone. Fermentation was carried out at controlled temperatures in stainless steel vats, with regular pumping over and cap submersions to extract optimum colour. Malolactic fermentation followed, in a mixture of american and french oak casks, and the wine was then matured, with regular rackings to fine and stabilize the wine naturally. Once cask ageing was complete, the wine was lightly fined using egg whites to give the fine its finished silky texture and shine. Once in bottle the wine has continued to evolve in elegance and finesse which are typical of this style.
