Vineyards of great quality
At the Contino estate, the average vines are 22 years old, but some are over 60. These have a low yield, but receive extraordinary care. Their fruit is of high quality, and in years considered excellent, is used to produce the prestigious "Gran Reserva", among other wines.
The winemaking process begins in the vineyard. The vines are cultivated, cared for, and watched over using advanced winegrowing techniques. Sabemos que en la calidad del vino influye la ubicación de las tierras, el suelo, el clima o el tipo de cepa, pero también los cuidados en la labranza.
